Under the generous patronage of His Excellency Professor Dr. Ahmed Abdel-Mawla, President of Assiut University, and as part of Assiut University's commitment to instilling the values of national pride and introducing new generations to the heroics of the Egyptian Armed Forces, as well as drawing lessons from the glorious October victory, the university hosted a celebration titled 'The Victory of October 6... Lessons and Insights.' The event was attended by Major General Mohamed Sayed Hassan Alwan, Governor of Assiut, the university's vice presidents, Professor Dr. Yasmin Al-Kahki, Dean of the Faculty of Specific Education at Assiut University, Professor Dr. Doaa Abdel-Mohsen, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, along with the deans, vice deans, and faculty members. The celebration featured speeches by Professor Dr. Ahmed Abdel-Mawla, President of Assiut University, and Sheikh Eid Ali Khalifa, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Awqaf in Assiut, highlighting the October victory's lessons in sacrifice, determination, and willpower, as well as its representation as an enduring national epic demonstrating the Egyptians' ability to achieve victories and safeguard the nation's resources.

In line with the Faculty of Specific Education at Assiut University’s commitment to enhancing safety and security measures, and raising awareness among the faculty members on how to act correctly in emergencies, the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector at the faculty, in cooperation with the Occupational Safety and Health Department, Civil Defense Department, and University Security Department, is organizing a practical drill on how to act during emergencies and implement the evacuation plan.
This will take place on Monday, October 12, 2026, at 9:00 AM.

This drill comes as part of spreading a culture of safety and security, and training on speedy response and proper action in emergency situations, contributing to the safety of students, faculty members, and staff at the faculty.

The Faculty of Specific Education participated in the fitness championship for university students. It was held on Monday, 10/5 for male students, and on Tuesday, 10/6 for female students, in the university's indoor hall. Student Islam Mostafa Sayed from the second year, Department of Art Education, won first place in the championship.
